Back from Obscurity...
I can't make any excuse for how long I've been gone from this page (checking on it from time to time). Life simply had me for a ride (for good and bad) and simply being busy with my current job and trying to start my actual career (my passion after some soul searching), namely voice acting. I do want everyone to know that I will try to keep tabs with this page, should anything arise and sort out the clutter after neglecting this poor account. Otherwise, I hope everyone is having a good weekend before the grind of work begins anew.

I want to thank everyone who has set aside a little bit of their time to see my gallery and I know I haven't been posting much of anything for months, which I apologize. Work has been in the way for a good portion of my time and the other is I have been focusing on my voice acting projects and posting on YouTube. The project I'm working on right now, I'm keeping a tight lip on, but I hope it will top my Ace Attorney (Matt Engarde) video and I still have a long way to go. Otherwise, I've been having quite a dry season on sketch/digital coloring ideas.

How long have you been on DeviantArt? I've been on this website for nearly 4 years this October and just about lost track.
What does your username mean? TaeKwonDoMonk was about the best name I could come up with from one of my experiences. I was taking the martial art while I was in college and with 'monk' on the end I was thinking that I'm taking a journey to find and broaden my horizons to maybe find a truth that's uniquely mine.
Describe yourself in three words. 'Indecisive procrastinating hobbyist' is about the only thing that seems to describe myself right now. XD
Are you left or right handed? Right handed!
What was your first deviation? Oh, sheesh... I have yet to find my own art style and I've been neglecting or putting that off for quite some time, mainly from trying to get my life straightened out. It's about when I tried to get in touch with my creative side and a few months before I joined DeviantArt.
What is your favourite type of art to create? So far, it's usually fan art and some associations that I would make with different franchises.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? If I were to pick, it would be a bit of Riot Game's LoL art style, the splash art and in-game art in that blows my mind.
*Edit(8/17/2015): Now that I thought of it a bit more, maybe a little bit of Rhubarb Zoo's art style in the mix as well.*What was your first favourite?
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? I tend to favorite other people's fan art usually and sometimes comics and nature photography.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? This is a bit too hard to pick since there's many artists I'm amazed with in DeviantArt.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? Same as number 10.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? I believe it's the opposite since I've seen QueefCream do leaps and bounds since she started. ^_^ I believe I at least gave her a few pointers ( I can't remember which ones now). As for me, I don't remember for the life of me. :/ My apologies to anyone regarding this answer.
What are your preferred tools to create art? Traditional sketching (pencil, paper and eraser) along with digital coloring (computer and mouse)!
(Sometimes my Nikon Coolpix camera and previously my Fujifilm.)What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? In my head with music, what else? ^_^
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? There were a couple of pieces I remember doing (separate times, but I'll focus on one that happened a couple years ago) and getting the idea on paper and coloring it on the computer. I felt compelled to finish whatever details came to my mind and it's one of those rare experiences where I felt that way. A rush of what felt like true inspiration. I finished with this:

I was hoping there would be some feed back concerning some of my more recent works, namely the flash videos of my voice acting, but I won't hold it against anyone if they have their reservations. I am, however, working on an another idea for both as a sketch and a colored piece when I have time. Good ideas are still hard to come by for me and I'm thankful for your patience. On another note, I'll do what I can to submit some practice doodles to help keep in touch with my own creative process and hopefully without references as much as possible.

I do want to open with the photos I no longer post on this Deviantart page (which was some time ago) and want to have a bookmark of sorts to help direct you to new photos I have posted in the last few months. That is, before Utah weather decided to have a shallow winter and I've yet to plan for a new location for a photo shoot. Here's the link for my page dedicated to photography:
As for the rest that I do, you can plainly see that I'm not quite as artistically productive (compared to some) unless I do have a spark of inspiration. There's a WIP or two I have still yet to finish and I'm doing what I can to rectify it. Any who come across this little corner of Deviantart are still welcome to peruse the gallery, give critiques/comments, whichever you want to do with no pressure from me. I'm just finding it harder to get ideas and even harder to get the motivation to solidify them. I'll still answer comments, since I check my accounts everyday.

Happy St. Valentine's!
I just had some last-minute inspiration for the occasion, but I doubt I'll finish in time for even a sketch. Figures... Anyway, I would also like to say a few words. As we all know about the season of love, it's not limited to girl/boyfriends or spouses, but it also reaches out to good friends and family (or as some may call Platonic and familial love). As for all the singles out there (including me), hang in there!

What's up everybody? I've recently seen some memes regarding a piece of each month for the entire year of 2014 and all I can say is that I seriously don't have enough from each month. The main reason for this is I had a streak of a creative block for a few months before my more recent sketches. Maybe I should put up the meme just for kicks?
Anyway, I also have some coloring plans for one or two of the recent sketches not only to improve on my coloring, but to also expand on my Digital gallery. The weather recently over here is getting a little crazy and for any who's caught in the frigid weather to stay warm.
